Casefic Exchange 🔎

Hello detectives,

I have some good news and some bad news.

Let's get the bad news over with first. You will now have only a week and a half to finalise editing your gifts, as all our pinch hits are in! 🥳 I guess that's the good news, too!

The collection will be opening on Friday 31 July at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

A massive thank you to our pinch hitters, especially those who claimed assignments during our post-deadline pinch hit rounds!

Some of our pinch hitters have put themselves up for a treat! Please check out our pinch hitter requests or consider treating someone who signed up for the exchange! Treats don't need to meet the exchange's minimum requirements (3k or equivalent and cover a full investigation from start to end), but they must comply with the request. (Brush up on what you can create for treats!)

If you are signed up as a participant and completed a gift and do not have a gift waiting for you, please get in touch by Friday 24 July at 11:59pm EDT [ In your timezone + Countdown ] so I can make the necessary investigations and arrangements. (I have cross-checked everyone, but I am only human!)

Please email gumshoeagency@gmail.com with your AO3 username if you have any questions or concerns.

See you soon for our big party! 💕

Hello daring detectives, cunning criminal masterminds, and notoriously nosy busybodies,

Firstly, a very big thank you to our pinch hitters for coming in clutch and claiming our remaining pinch hits! We have several assignments currently under investigation by very reputable detectives and investigators (and maybe a few criminals?).

Secondly, I thought I'd give a quick update regarding next steps. As of right now, the collection is anticipated to be revealed on Friday 3 July at 11:59pm EDT. I will confirm if we are set to reveal on Friday 3 July after the Friday 26 June PDPH deadline has passed. (I should have informed all pinch hitters if they need more time to get in touch. In case I have neglected my duties: If you are a pinch hitter with an active assignment and find you need more time closer to the deadline, please email me so we can discuss!)

There is a chance our collection opening may be delayed, as I want to give our pinch hitters time to plant their red herrings and clues. I anticipate that if this is the case, we'll be delaying by one or two weeks. Once again, I'll confirm this after 26 June so that everyone can organise their time to complete their final edits.

In the meantime, if you're still feeling the casefic bug, please check out our pinch hitter requests and consider treating someone! Treats don't need to meet the exchange's minimum requirements (3k or equivalent and cover a full investigation from start to end), but they must comply with the request. (Brush up on what you can create for treats!)

If you completed and submitted a gift, do not have a gift, and were not included in the last two pinch hit posts, please get in touch ASAP.

If you have any questions, please email gumshoeagency@gmail.com with your AO3 username so I know who I'm talking to.

See you soon! 🩷

Hello investigators, criminal masterminds, and citizen detectives,

It's been a fortnight since you last heard from me. I have some great news.

The collection will be opening on Friday 29 August at 11:59pm EDT. [ In your timezone + Countdown. ]

All of the cases that were needed to be completed in order for us to open are in. Please take this time to review your assignment and ensure that you've dotted your i's and crossed your t's and added any tags that you've left off so others can find your work within the collection and your fandom tags.

If you're still jonesing to get your hands dirty with investigations, may I invite you to have a look at our pinch hitter's treats and have a look around the AO3 app to see if there's anyone else you'd like to create a gift for. Treats do not have to be 3,000 words minimum or its equivalent and they do not have to have a beginning/middle/end of a case being fully solved.

If you have any questions, please email me at gumshoeagency@gmail.com.

Thank you again to our wonderful pinch hitters for working hard to help us get all our cases solved! (If you'd like to put yourself up for a treat, please do head on over to the post!)

See you next week! 🩷
