Casefic likes: I love murder mysteries (unsurprising given the whole premise of this show) and canon-typical cases! And heists and missions. And espionage. I love some mind games as well, and when seemingly innocuous things turn out to be part of a bigger plot/plan that then starts to come together. The cruise ship arc was one of my favourites, also the missing cabbages case (vastly different tone but I enjoy some good dramatics as well!), or if you're only familiar with the anime: the auberge case. Kidnapping is cool with me. What if Spitz and Winter have to team up for a case because they share a goal? Maybe it's just a typical day for Ron and Toto and someone got murdered again. Maybe the World Detective Alliance is after them and they have to find a way out of this (again)? Maybe Spitz finally gets to be involved in a case with the two of them and he gets included like he wants so badly. Maybe Milo set up another test for Ron and Toto? Just have fun with it!
[manga spoilers]: I would prefer Ron to actually be able to leave the house, so it not be set in his armchair detective arc.

The casino heist arc was just magnificent, the way the Cleanbois got so hopeless and desperate trying to figure it out, trying the most out there theories just to have something to try,, beautiful. And the absolute euphoria when they figured it out. Just them robbing things. Also the lower vault arc where Yuno trained so hard to do the usb hack and everyone was so proud of him,, challenge is good when it pays off! Or a murder mystery? Maybe one of them or someone close to them got murdered and they have to solve it to take vengeance? Or one of them got kidnapped and they have to rescue them? I love some espionage as well. Or maybe Yuno goes on an adventure? Honestly have fun with it!

Luke keeps finding various "improvements" at the diner that he doesn't remember making. Is it Taylor getting on his nerves again, or is this something new?

But, with that said, specific prompts for the investigation include:

- A serial killer has taken an interest in someone on the team. They've been playing the long con, and as the bodies become more frequent, they become much more aggressive in their methods.

- A mission is very personal to one of the Legends, even if it's not directly related to them, and they are getting continuously attached and reckless as things progress.

- A murderer turns out to be Lucifer's past lover, supernatural or human. Chloe is a little jealous, but she must stay professional, even as Lucifer talks about the good times he had with this lover.
- The system is against them. While Chloe is trying to stay by the book on this case, the other characters have to convince her that they'll have to get underhanded in order to succeed at bringing the killer to justice.
- A case confronts them with the supernatural, and Chloe has to do her job while processing the fact that Lucifer is actually the Devil. Everyone else is less surprised, even if they thought he was lying the whole time.

I have jumped back into this fandom headfirst. I’d love anything Born Again-era or leading up to it, in particular. Although I have a lot of lingering fondness for Defenders-era as well. Solving crime, locating missing people, helping people in trouble, dealing with personal vendettas. It’s all good. Also, if you want to intersect with anything or anyone in the MCU, go for it. I still yearn for Blip stories and what Defenders characters were up to during that time to keep the city safe.

I’m requesting all gen, but canon relationships are fine to include. And I do ship Frank/Karen; I just don’t want romance to be the focus here.

Ideas:
Nelson, Murdock, and Page era. A typical client comes to them for help. How do they work together as a team in this unseen golden era of theirs? How does Matt balance Daredevil when it’s pretty clear Foggy was still trying to pull him away from that? What is Karen’s life like dedicated to this venture?

Foggy survives and Matt and Karen track him down. Witness protection? Or something nefarious? Reunions are my bulletproof narrative kink, so whatever it takes to get to that. Bringing Foggy back is also a prompt that can apply to any of these requests!

Frank and Karen team up again, in the Born Again-era or before. What if Karen helped Frank with a case while doing her Nelson, Murdock, and Page thing and keeping Frank a secret? Or after Born Again, this is a particularly fucked up Frank and grieving Karen, but there’s still that ridiculous charged connection between them. How far are they willing to go to get what needs to be done? Feel free to push them far!

Jessica and Matt any time post-Defenders, taking on a case together. They’re very different people but have a lot in common (the violence, the continually pulling themselves away from others). What is it like when just the two of them partner together after what both have been through since the last time they saw each other?

Karen and Misty. Our somewhat ordinary people (other than a bionic arm) have to work together. I feel like they open up different kinds of cases, from crime-solving to journalistic investigation. This could be an ordinary NYC kind of mystery or maybe they’re stuck looking into some weirdass alien or mystical shit and have to deal.

I love the batshit and surreal here, pushing toward horror. Go nuts. Anything in the tone of the show, in terms of kinds of mysteries, would be wonderful. Or go even weirder. Solving crimes, finding lost items or people, unraveling the mysteries of the universe, taking on government conspiracies. I’d love anything exploring different holistic powers while solving a case.

Ideas:
Dirk and Mona rescue Bart from Blackwing! How do they find her? How well do their holistic powers work together? Does Bart even really need their help or does she rescue herself along the way? Do they find a way to take Blackwing down? Is there any saving Ken from himself?

Dirk, Todd, and Farah take on a case once they finally get their detective agency off the ground. Things likely go horribly wrong! Bart is or is not involved!

I’ve always wanted architectural horror for this show, so throw them into a building gone wrong and make them solve their way out.

I’m particularly interested in post-Endgame or post-No Way Home, although younger Peter somehow running into Jessica could also be really fun. I love Jessica getting sucked into reluctantly helping, Peter being a balance of earnest and lost, and both of them sharing super strength. But Jessica has never really bothered with a superhero identity whereas that’s been Peter’s whole thing. Crime-solving, saving each other, dealing with ordinary people’s problems or cosmic shit. Or throw them into some ghost horror mess for kicks. Also, if you want to intersect with anything or anyone in the MCU (including TV shows), go for it.

Ideas:
While on a case, Jessica accidentally saves a Peter Parker no one else remembers. Maybe this is the start of things changing for him.

Post-Endgame, NYC is recovering from the Blip and Peter is grieving the loss of Tony. Jessica finds herself a part of putting things back together.

Peter gets drawn into the darker side of NYC and the kinds of things Jessica deals with all the time. I don’t necessarily want Peter himself to go darker than he is in canon, but I wonder how he’d deal with the kind of fucked up that Jessica handles.
