Lucifer (TV) — Does it belong in DC's Arrowverse?

For those familiar with Lucifer (TV), do you think this show should be considered under the DC Arrowverse umbrella? I'm only familiar with Lucifer's involvement in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event and the ramifications of that. I'm happy to keep it separate, but I wanted to check in with nominators/interested parties to see if it should go under our DCTV umbrella. Sorted! Keeping it separate. :)

There are queries from the first nominations post that I'd appreciate the nominator's input on.

Great, the Avatar and Murderbot issues have been fixed! It looks like the Columbo duplicate is still there though?

I also noticed a duplicate fandom. Star Wars Original Trilogy and Star Wars: Original Trilogy are listed as two different fandoms. The tags under the two of them are different, though.

I'm not the Lucifer nominator, but I was in Lucifer fandom for a few years! I would not consider it part of the Arrowverse, even though it appeared in the big Crisis Crossover.

Partly because it barely showed up in the Crisis crossover at all; and partly because a strong case could be made that they were multiverse hopping. However, more relevantly: there's no other crossover with Arrowverse lore in any of Lucifer's aired episodes. If you are a fan of just Lucifer the TV show, and you only watch the show itself, you might not ever have known that it crossed over with the Arrowverse properties. Superheroes don't exist otherwise in Lucifer. I think Lucifer fans would be confused to see Lucifer characters bundled under the DCTV umbrella because the connection between them is so tenuous.

If you do choose to bundle it together, people can probably figure out what happened to their characters, but I think even I (a person who loves reading tagset updates and scouring the app for Lucifer requests) might forget to look for them under the DCTV umbrella. xD

That's a perfect answer for me! I'm only familiar with how Crisis impacted The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends, which all have such heavy appearances in each big DCTV crossover. I'll accept it as its own fandom.
