Sign-ups close in two days!

Daring detectives, we have approximately two days left until sign-ups close for our second round of Casefic Exchange! We'll be closing our doors to new and returning recruits and cases on Sunday 1 February. [ In your timezone + Countdown ]

Below is a checklist to help you get your t's crossed and your i's dotted before assignments are sent out:

• If you're interested in signing up, please refer to our sign-up guidelines!


• Please make sure you make yourself matchable as a creator. One of the easiest ways to do this is to look at the the sign-up summary, requests summary and AO3 app.


• Please remember that you are required to request 3 unique fandoms to be guaranteed a gift. Requesting variations of Star Wars, for example, does not qualify.
  
  If your requests are 1. Star Wars: Original Trilogy, 2. Star Wars: Prequel Trilogy, 3. Andor, 4. Mandalorian, you are not guaranteed a gift. If you request in addition 5. Enola Holmes, 6. Six of Crows, you have met the minimum of 3 unique fandoms requirement.


• Please also make sure that you include casefic likes in your sign-up. If you're needing some inspiration on what you could prompt, I've compiled a list of prompts for you to refer to.
  
  Please make sure you have a few different ones so your creator has a variety of inspiration to pull from (i.e., not just mentioning you want a murder mystery, but also including a heist and missionfic if those are things you're interested in).


• Check that the email you have attached to your AO3 account is up to date, and that you've whitelisted gumshoeagency@gmail.com so you can receive very important emails from me!


• This is your last chance to finalise your sign-up! Please make sure you've requested all that you want (keeping our maximum number of requests in mind), offered what you're excited to create, included active links if you've added a letter, and checked your DNWs.


• This is your last chance to send your do not match requests! I will not be accepting these once sign-ups close.

Once I close sign-ups, I will run matching. I will contact our unmatchables (if there are any) and anyone who I feel has a sign-up that goes against the exchange's rules. (Or a sign-up that may benefit from a little nudge for clarification!)

For anyone unfamiliar, an "unmatchable" is a detective who doesn't have someone to create for. You will have a short window to either add offers (ensuring that what you're offering has requests) or pull out from the exchange.
